4 oz. packet. Salt, sodium nitrite (6.25%), FD&C Red #3 (0.00099%). Use this for smoked sausage and jerky. Sodium nitrite is needed to control bacteria and extend shelf life. It is also the ingredient that turns the meat pink. Use 1 oz. per 25 lbs. of meat.
